Bhopal: A review meeting of law and order was held at the CM's residence under the chairmanship of Shivraj Singh Chouhan. During this, CM Shivraj said that those madrasas and institutions running illegally in the state will be reviewed, where fundamentalism is being taught. Bigotry and extremism will not be tolerated in Madhya Pradesh. He further said to keep an eye on social media, identify those who write misleading news or insensitive or radicalising comments, and take necessary action.
The same Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that in the meeting, Chief Minister Shivraj directed officers to keep a close watch on organisations like JMB and PFI and those who spread confusion on social media regarding festivals in the coming days and that no illegal activities should be conducted anywhere in the state.
