Recently Rhea's lawyer Satish Maneshinde spoke to the media. During this time he has said, "All the allegations against Rhea are baseless. Rhea has appeared before the Mumbai Police and ED in connection with the investigation and she is ready to appear before the third agency". In this regard, Rhea has told her lawyer that, "She does not know Aditya Thackeray nor ever met him."

Rhea talked to her lawyer about this case. She has said, "She never took money from Sushant". Apart from this, Rhea also says that "Mumbai Police and ED, two investigative agencies have investigated all the documents and they did not find anything suspicious against me". Apart from this, Rhea has also said that she is ready to be investigated by any third agency as well.

Rhea has also said that "Mumbai Police and ED have taken all kinds of electronic, forensic and medical reports. Bank statement, income tax, CCTV, CDR and electronic data are with both agencies, till now no criminal facts have been found against me. Media should not speculate. My silence is not weakness. The truth never changes. It is nonsense to accuse me 40 days after the death. Sushant's family is talking nonsense. All the family's allegations are baseless." Rhea is under suspicion at this time and she is being questioned by ED and Mumbai police.
