The investigation is going on since the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Now CBI is investigating Sushant's case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is also engaged in questioning many people in money laundering case. New revelations are being made about Sushant's death. So far, his Europe trip has been mentioned many times. Sushant went with his girlfriend on this trip. Rhea Chakraborty has given a statement to ED officials about this trip. Rhea told the ED officials, "During the Europe trip in October 2019, we both went for a holiday in Florence, Italy."
"We stayed in a heritage hotel in Florence, which is about 600 years old. There were very big rooms in that hotel. There were some old paintings on the walls." Rhea said, "Sushant suddenly started chanting the rosary of Rudraksha after seeing the painting on the walls. After that, his mental condition had deteriorated, which got worse with the passage of time". According to the reports that surfaced, "There came a time that it was becoming difficult for Rhea to handle Sushant. Rhea wanted Sushant to get counselling from a psychiatrist." Rhea Chakraborty said in her statement, "I was in another room with my brother Showik Chakraborty, but when I returned, I saw Sushant holding a Rudraksha in his hand and reciting some mantras. He looked very nervous. When I asked him what happened, Sushant told me that he is looking at the character printed in the paintings hanging on the wall. However, he could not clearly say anything about that." Rhea further said in her statement, "Sushant was sweating. I too got scared after seeing this. My brother also got nervous. We took Sushant out of his room. Later when he was normal I asked again what had happened. Sushant simply said that it was shocking."
Rhea told the ED officials, "In the hotel where we stayed, there was a painting hung by an Italian archaeological painter Funciccio Goya. In the painting, a demon eating a child was shown. This painting was of Saturn Devouring His Son. Sushant was terrified after seeing this painting. Sushant was repeatedly saying that this painting has a ghost and that ghost will eat him up". Apart from this, in her statement to the officials, Rhea said, "After that, I and Showik slept with him in Sushant's room that night. Sushant was constantly talking about those paintings, but I handled him and said that this is just his imagination. The next day, Sushant and Showik set out for a detox centre in Austria. But, Sushant was not feeling well there either. Europe Trip was going to end in November 2019. But, we returned to Mumbai on 28 October 2019". Rhea further said, "After returning to Bandra, Sushant started living alone in his room. There were voices of shouting and crying from inside. This went on for a few days. After this we decided that we took Sushant to a doctor, Sushant was not getting comfortable with any doctor. So we started changing doctors one after another. Sushant was feeling lifeless after returning from the trip. He remained silent for several days. After this, his health started deteriorating".
Rhea told, "She herself started getting depressed and on 8 June Sushant himself told her to go to her house so that she (Riya) could get some care." Apart from Rhea, Sushant's cook Neeraj also said in the past, "Sushant Singh Rajput went on a tour to Europe with Rhea Chakraborty in October 2019 and returned from there around Diwali. Sushant was completely fine when he was going on the trip, but after returning from there, his health deteriorated and after that, his health continued to deteriorate."
