Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government is preparing to deliver rations from ATMs at ration depots. Grain ATMs will soon be seen in this state. The beneficiaries of the state will have to enter the Aadhaar number and ration card number in these grain ATMs and after that, the food grains will come out of the ATM. The State Government is planning to set it up at Bhubaneswar for the first time under the pilot project.

Also, in the next phase, it is planned to install grain ATMs in all the cities of the state. Minister Sabyasachi said that a special code card will be given to the beneficiaries in the state to collect rations from the grain ATM. The Grain ATM machine will be fully touch screen, with a biometric facility present. Here, the beneficiaries will have to enter their Aadhaar number and ration card number. Thereafter, the beneficiaries will get the foodgrains from the ATM.
