Washington: Ever since Elon Musk, the world's richest man, became the chief of Twitter, the platform has been in the headlines every day for some reason or the other. Amid the resignation of hundreds of employees, #RIPTwitter is trending fiercely on Twitter today. Memes are being shared fiercely with this hashtag. Elon Musk himself has shared a meme from his handle, in which you can see twitter's grave.

It is noteworthy that all this is happening at a time when the news of hundreds of Twitter employees leaving their job has come into the media. According to the report, employees are very angry about the large-scale changes being made in the company and 'hardcore work'. Reports claim that hundreds of employees have voluntarily quit after Musk extended working hours and gave an ultimatum of 'hardcore work'. These employees have resigned at a time when Musk is already facing criticism over large-scale layoffs and other changes in the company.

According to the report, after buying Twitter for $44 billion (362461220000 rupees) on October 27, 2022, Musk fired 3,700 former employees, including senior management. Musk first discharged Indian-origin CEO Parag Agarwal, CFO Ned Segal, and Legal Affairs-Policy Head Vijaya Gadde and also got them out of the company headquarters. After this, he tweeted, 'The bird is freed.'

It is being told that on Wednesday (November 16), Elon Musk gave an ultimatum to the employees via email. In this, the new owner of the company told employees about the creation of Twitter 2.0, 'To make Twitter successful, we need to be very bigoted.' Along with this, it was also said to work for a long time. The employees were very angry with this email. Elon Musk gave employees the option to leave the company by Thursday (November 17). He said that it is up to you to decide whether you want to work longer or not. If you don't want to work here, you will be given a salary for the next three months.
