Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 67. The actor was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and was undergoing treatment for the disease in New York for the past one year. After battling this serious disease for two years, Rishi Kapoor breathed his last in a hospital in Mumbai. He said goodbye to this world and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan gave information about the sudden demise of Rishi Kapoor on his Twitter handle. Since listening to this news, all the actors of Bollywood and TV industry have been paying tribute to Rishi Kapoor on social media.

Mourning the demise of Rishi Kapoor, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Siddharth Shukla, Rashmi Desai, Mohsin Khan, Ronit Roy, Rohit Roy, Prasoon Joshi, Manish Paul and many TV stars have expressed their condolences on social media. Ronit Roy tweeted and said "No! A very dark morning. beyond belief. Chintuji was my favourite person in the film industry who left us today. I loved him very much and he also always respected my love. The void you left in my heart will never be filled."
