Today is the first death anniversary of late Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor. On this day in 2020, Rishi Kapoor has said goodbye to the world forever, ending his battle with cancer. Rishi Kapoor, who suffered from leukemia, underwent prolonged treatment in the US after which he returned to India. The news of Rishi Kapoor's death proved to be a deep shock for the film industry.
Today, on the occasion of his death anniversary, people are remembering him with moist eyes and paying homage and condolences to him for his legacy. Remembering her father today, daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni shared an emotional on social media. Riddhima shared her memorable photos with father Rishi and wrote, "I wish I could hear you say mushrik once. As long as we meet again, we're going to remember you forever. We are still talking about you, you have not forgotten or will not forget."
According to media reports, Riddhima further wrote, "We keep you close to our hearts and you will stay there so that you will walk with us and we are going to see the way in our lives.'' When Rishi Kapoor was undergoing treatment in New York, many stars including Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt approached him to know his plight. Meanwhile, Rishi Kapoor's wife Neetu Kapoor was taking care of him.
