Amid the havoc of the coronavirus, the Deep-X device developed by Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT) Prayagraj will tell in 20 seconds whether the person is infected with corona. The mechanical engineering department of the institute has also made a temperature detector and pulse oximeter to report a lack of oxygen in the patient.

Various technology-technical research-teaching-training institutes of India are engaged in developing the necessary equipment to deal with Covid-19. In this sequence, many projects are also underway at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, MNNIT, Prayagraj. A device that can instantly identify corona-infected persons through an X-ray scan is special.

The scientists associated with the projects said that it can be used at the airport, railway station, bus station, or any such entry-exit point. Deep-X portable equipment is capable of instantly identifying suspects from the people passing through it. Scientists have developed the software through deep learning algorithms (deep calculations), which enable such microscopic examination by connecting it to portable X-ray scanners. Connected to a portable X-ray machine, this software scans a person's lung and matches it to previously uploaded X-ray photographs. Covid-19 gives an immediate report on infection. This entire process takes only 20 seconds. That is, as soon as the equipment comes in, it is immediately known whether the person's lung is affected by the infection or not.
