New Delhi: Cold wave conditions are still being felt in Delhi due to strong winds coming from the northwest direction for two days. The wind speed of 25-30 kilometers per hour has put the brakes on the temperature. Due to this, the minimum temperature on Tuesday has also been recorded at 8.6 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal. Jafarpur recorded the lowest temperature of 6.9 degrees Celsius, followed by Mungeshpur at 7.6 degrees Celsius and Ridge at 8.2 degrees Celsius. However, the maximum temperature was recorded at 25.9 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average. Now people can also get relief from cold soon.

The temperature is expected to rise from Wednesday and the mercury is set to touch 30 degrees by the end of the week. This will be due to a new Western disturbance. Strong winds are also blowing in Delhi-NCR on Tuesday. The Meteorological Department has predicted a wind speed of 20-30 kilometers per hour on Wednesday as well. Now due to Western disturbance, the cold has started decreasing.

There will be cloudy movement in the sky for the next two to three days, but there is no forecast of rain at all. On February 15, the maximum temperature is expected to be 28 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 10 degrees. At the same time, the maximum temperature is expected to reach 30 degrees and the minimum temperature will reach 11 degrees by February 19-20.
