Salman Khan shows his graciousness to play part in Chhatrapati Shivaji's biopic even without knowing the role he will play.In a recent interview Riteish very happily confirmed the news said, "It was extremely gracious of him (Salman) to have offered to be a part of this without knowing exactly what part he is going to play. I respect that faith he has in me and our friendship."

Salman already did a cameo in Marathi film Lai Bhaari" whose director had said his role in the upcoming biopic won't be confined to a brief appearance. Riteish on this note said, "Currently the writing process is on and it would be too premature to talk about that. Salman is quite fluent in Marathi and the duo talk in that language."

According to Riteish it’s a big responsibility to portray Maratha warrior exactly," It's a huge responsibility to make a film on that personality. Because it is not only a story but there are lots of emotions attached to that personality and the life. It's not that you're talking about a forgotten hero."

"Today this hero is as alive as anyone else. Hence, there is a lot of responsibility. We are doing our full research, trying to figure out what all are we going to say. We want to make a film that will help you understand the personality more," he added further Ravi Jadhav will direct the film.
