Patna: The Bharatiya Janata Party has won the by-election in Bihar's Kudhani assembly seat. In this election, Bharatiya Janata Party's Kedar Gupta defeated Janata Dal United's candidate Manoj Kushwaha fighting on behalf of Grand Alliance. Lalu Yadav's party Rashtriya Janata Dal has blamed Nitish Kumar for the defeat in the Kudni by-election. Even the former MLA of the party demanded Nitish Kumar to resign from the post of Chief Minister and hand over the post to Tejashwi Yadav.
Former MLA of Rashtriya Janata Dal from Kudhani, Anil Sahni said that this defeat is not of the Grand Alliance. This defeat is of Nitish Kumar. We lost this election because of the stubbornness of Nitish Kumar. He did not even go to campaign in Gopaganj and Mokama. He said that the way Tejashwi Yadav sacrificed the party symbol in the by-election. Similarly, Nitish Kumar should also resign from the post of Chief Minister and Tejashwi Yadav should be made the Chief Minister to strengthen the Grand Alliance.
