Patna: The politics of Bihar and Sushant Singh Rajput's case in Bollywood are now seen to be interlinked. Former Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav's party Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA has made a controversial statement on Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death.

RJD MLA Arun Yadav from Saharsa assembly constituency said that actor Sushant Singh Rajput was not a Rajput from caste. If he were a Rajput, he would not die with a rope in the throat, because Rajputs are descendants of Maharana Pratap. If he was Rajput, he should have competed. The CBI is investigating the matter. It is doing its job," he said, while Arun Yadav was campaigning in his locality, he said these things among the public.

Arun Yadav further said that Sushant should not have died with a noose. He should have fought against him, but he couldn't. Maharana Pratap Rajput as well as Yadavs were ancestors. When Arun Yadav has thought that he has made objectionable statements, he changed track and said that the CBI is investigating the Sushant case. Our leader Ratan Yadav had also demanded a CBI inquiry. At the same time, we have sought to name the film City in Nalanda in the name of Sushant.
