NEW DELHI: Acclaimed Youtuber and bike rider, Agastya Chauhan, died while he was riding back on his way to Delhi at a speed of 300 kilometers per hour on the Yamuna expressway. He had more than 12 lakh subscribers on YouTube and he used to enjoy a huge fan base among youngsters.
Agastya's Kawasaki bike crashed after colliding with a divider, causing the accident. Media accounts state that after hitting the divider, he lost control of his bike and died as a result. The young biker's injuries were so severe that he passed away immediately. After the tragic incident, Agastya's helmet was also shattered into pieces.
Later, his body was turned over to the Tappal police station in the Aligarh district. His body was transported to Kailash Hospital in Greater Noida's mortuary for an autopsy. After the post-mortem, the deceased was given to an Agastya family member.
The well-known YouTube bike racer perished in a terrible road accident, according to IPS Kalanidhi Naithani, Senior Superintendent of Police for Aligarh.
Following the accident, Aligarh Police urged drivers to exercise extreme caution and driving responsibility. The two-wheeler drivers were also urged by the police to reduce their speed. Agastya was charged at the beginning of 2023 under several sections of the Motor Vehicle Act and the Indian Penal Code for performing perilous acts on the roads of Deharadun. Agastya was one of the 12 YouTube bloggers that Dehradun traffic police had designated as those who pull antics at the expense of the general public's safety, as per reports.
