Rajouri: In a terrorist-initiated explosion that occurred on Friday during an anti-terror operation in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir, two members of the Army were killed and four others were injured, as per official information.

The terrorists responded by detonating an explosive device. As per a statement from Northern Command, the Army unit has lost two troops fatally and four others, including an officer, have been injured.

The location of the encounter has been instructed to receive more teams from the area. It went on to say that the injured servicemen had been transported to Command Hospital in Udhampur.

As per source info, the Indian Army is carrying out persistent intelligence-based operations to flush out a group of terrorists responsible for an ambush on an army convoy in the Tota Gali neighbourhood of Bhata Dhurian in the Jammu region.

On May 3, 2023, a joint operation was started based on precise information concerning the presence of terrorists in the Kandi Forest in the Rajouri Sector. On May 5, 2023, around 7:30 am, a search team made contact with a group of terrorists who were deeply embedded in a cave. The region has dense vegetation as well as precipitous rocks, according to the official statement.

Initial indications indicate that there are some terrorists trapped nearby. There is a chance that a terrorist group will suffer casualties.
