Zimbabwe: The 2023 ODI World Cup qualifiers are currently being played in Zimbabwe. Ten teams competed, but only four remain in the preliminary round.

Notably, the hopes of Ireland, Nepal, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States to compete in the 2023 ODI World Cup have not been realized. These teams are all eliminated from the qualifying round. Six countries will now compete to go to the ODI World Cup final, which will be held in India.

These six teams have advanced to the Super-6 despite four teams being eliminated from the qualification round. Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, the Netherlands, Scotland, Oman, and the West Indies are among these. Even though there are still four league stage games left, the top-6 are still obvious.

Let us inform you that Super-6 games will begin on August 29 in the qualifying round. And on July 9th, it will play its final game. The World Cup final will include two teams from the qualifying rounds. There will be 10 teams competing in the 2023 ODI World Cup. There are eight teams who have already qualified. The final two teams from the qualifying round will advance.

The 2023 ODI World Cup has already seen direct qualifiers from host India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, and England. The last two teams will now be drawn from the qualifying round. Then, in October or November, the big event will take place. Team India will begin the World Cup as the favourite because they will be playing at home.
