Something similar happened with Ranjan Kumar, who lives in Delhi. Ranjan has been using PAYTM for a long time but he became a victim of fake calls one day. The robbers robbed 28000 rupees by sending them some fake links for KYC. A link to the Quick Support app was downloaded from Ranjan. Ranjan told Zee News that he was disappointed with his money being looted. No action is being taken by the police, PAYTM or the government against it.

Something similar happened with Nitin Tyagi, a resident of Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. On October 1, he also gets a call in the name of KYC update and in just a few minutes, he also got into the words of the robber and after clicking on the fake links sent to him, shared his details and got 100 rupees before Nitin's account and then 2100. Withdrew up to Rs. Nitin Tyagi also complained to PAYTM for this fraud but he got only the reply that no such call was made to him from PAYTM.

On these fake calls, cyber expert Amit Dubey says that clicking on any unknown link in his phone or downloading an application is the biggest mistake. These robbers have made the platform associated with PAYTM, Google, PhonePe and other UPI services. In today's date, most are being fraudulent in the name of activating KYC in Paytm. Even PAYTM is not able to give any help to people, it is only warning them to be careful.

When Zee News reached the Noida office of PAYTM seeking answers on the fraud being done in the name of KYC, only information could be received from there that no one is called for KYC from PAYTM. There are some more people doing in their name, people should take care of it themselves. If there is a call or message on your phone, then check it at least 2 times before trusting it, because in this fast-changing world, the balance can be blown from your bank account in a minute.
