Mumbai: The fire brigade team faces a lot of problems in reaching the spot and extinguishing the fire when buildings in small and narrow streets caught fire several times in Mumbai. As the lanes were narrow, the fire brigade's team was often unable to reach the spot, which sometimes led to firefighters risking their lives and extinguishing the flames. But now these Mumbai firefighters will no longer have to risk their lives, as they will no longer do this risky task.
According to the information received, the department will soon get these robots to complete the fire fighting task. The robot being given to the Mumbai Fire Brigade is worth around Rs 1 crore. Each of these robots weighs about 400 to 500 kg. The robot's thermal camera will also be able to take clear pictures of the smoke and extinguish the fire inside the houses. It will also be able to protect it from increased temperatures due to the fire.
This robot will run through the battery and pull water and extinguish the fire. So far, such robots were made only in Israel, China, and the US, but now in India too, these robots will do work as fire extinguisher. The aluminium sheet will be used to make this robot.
