Rochelle Rao responses to her stalker who fat shammed her

Rochelle Rao, an ex Bigg Boss contestant and former Miss India was recently fat shammed by a stalker. To this Rochelle said, "You know, it doesn't affect me. I know, I am bound to receive negative comments when fans feel the need to advise me on various topics, including weight. But you know, it's actually fine. I too am entitled to my opinions when I don't like certain things by a few people on social media, whom I follow and I do say it. So If I can say something, so can my fans tell me what they feel about a certain thing, regarding me. That's the whole point of social media, and I am cool with it. It doesn't affect me. I am not the one who will take it to heart if my fan says that they did not like my picture or something. It's okay with me. If you are in love with yourself, it's fine, nothing can bother you. People are entitled to their opinion. Being in the limelight, that is the biggest thing you have to deal with. If everything and every opinion start bothering you, you will never be able to move on in life. And my work is all that keeps me happy. So that's about it."

Rochelle further said, "If you notice, you will realise that these comments are from one particular fan who has been stalking me since a year and a half, right from my BB days. Initially, we used to block these fans because you know, they used to spam our accounts. As told earlier, I don't block my fans, because I don't like doing it. But this person has been like spamming. But I now ignore it. Well, not just that, that stalker has been sending private messages to my friends, all my family members, Keith and like 100's of messages. Every time I block, they come up with a new ID, you can make out from their language right. But I just ignore it. My real fans I know, are usually the ones who are nice and give even negative feedback nicely. So I know its pointless in taking such things to heart or too seriously. But I really feel bad for that one stalker or fan you may call. I mean there must be something wrong at his end drastically which is why he or she is behaving like this. In fact this morning I was talking to Keith about the same and wondering if there is any way where we could reach out to them and help them because their life seems really disturbed and that makes me really feel bad. This person might just commit suicide or something, I mean he looks really twisted you see."

"I just hope I can help him in any way and make things a little better at least. That is why I haven't retaliated or anything over this issue because I feel really bad for that fan," she also said.

When she was asked did she not think of reporting it to the Cyber police? "No Ya, I did not feel the need because though spamming, the fan hasn't ever threatened me or scared me for anything. I actually don't want to waste my energy or time over this," said Rochelle.
