Tum Kya Mile, the love ballad that was included in the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani teaser starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, will be released on Wednesday. Pritam composed the song, Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote the lyrics, and Arijit Singh sung it. 

Karan Johar's production company, Dharma Productions, revealed on social media that the first song from the romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Tum Kya Mile, will be released on June 28. It referred to Karan Johar, Arijit Singh, Pritam, and Amitabh Bhattacharya as 'the dream team.' Karan, Amitabh, Pritam, and Arijit previously collaborated on another love song, the title tune of Karan's most recent film, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). The successful CD also included the well-known Channa Mereya. Both songs were shot on Ranbir Kapoor, who played a singer with an unrequited love story.

Seven years after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Karan makes his directorial debut with this film. It also has major performances by renowned actors Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan. Sumit Roy and Shashank Khaitan co-wrote the screenplay, and Ishita Moitra wrote the dialogue. Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios collaborated on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The trailer is anticipated to be released next month, and the film will be released in theatres on July 28.
