Melbourne: Friday, March 4, has turned out to be a very sad day for the Australian cricket team and its fans as two of Australia's greats died in a single day and that too within 12 hours. In fact, the legendary wicketkeeper of the Australian team Rod Marsh and the legendary spinner Shane Warne have passed away within a few hours on the same day. The surprising thing is that both the legendary players have died of a heart attack.

On February 24, former Australian batsman Rod Marsh was admitted to the hospital due to a heart attack, but he died on the morning of March 4. For this reason, the Australian team players, who came to play their first Test match in 24 years on the tour of Pakistan, took to the field wearing black bands. Even the other cricketer who passed away on March 4 had also mourned the death of Rod Marsh and now the Australian cricketers will wear the black arm band again.

Rod Marsh, who played for the Australian team in 99 Tests and 92 ODIs, died on the morning of March 4, 2022, while the news of Shane Warne's death at night shocked everyone. Especially to the fans of the Australian team and to Cricket Australia, because the passing away of two former cricketers at the same time is in itself a big blow to cricket lovers of one country and one country. Even the contribution of Shane Warne and Rod Marsh to Australia's cricket history is significant.
