New Delhi: The schedule for the 2023 World Cup was announced on June 27 by the ICC. On October 8, Team India will face Australia in their opening game. Warm-up games will be played before the main draw like they are every time. Before the World Cup's main tournament, Team India must play two exhibition games. The match schedule has become more prominent. The warm-up games will begin on September 29 and last through October 3.

The ODI World Cup 2023's warm-up games will take place in Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, and Guwahati. The first practise match for Rohit Sharma's team will take place against England on 30 September in Guwahati. On October 3rd, Team India will play its second warmup game versus Qualifier 1.  All nine of India's matches in the main draw will be played at different locations.

On October 8 in Chennai, Team India will face Australia in the opening game. On October 11 in Delhi, the second game will take place against Afghanistan. After that, on October 15, there will be a match between India and Pakistan at the Narendra Modi Stadium. On October 19, Team India will play Bangladesh in Pune at the same time. On October 22 in Dharamshala, Team India will face New Zealand in their sixth World Cup 2023 encounter.

On October 29, Team India will play its sixth match against England in Lucknow, then on November 2, Qualifier 2 in Mumbai, then on November 8, Team India will play its eighth match against South Africa in Kolkata, and on November 11, Team India will play its final group-stage encounter against Qualifier 1 in Bengaluru.
