New Delhi [India], Jan 30: Indian Premier League (IPL) is one of the most honorable league around the galaxy. Not only it is a cash-rich tournament, but also one of the best platforms for young cricketers to be part of the dressing room with some of the biggest cricketing stars. For that reason, franchises have developed a core group, around which the harmony of the team revolves around. It is to tough to build a champion side and only after permutations-combinations, years after years, the locker room clicks together. However, after completing a decade, the IPL held a mega auction where each franchise built its team from scratch. While some of the franchises benefited from the mega auctions, the returning champions Mumbai Indians (MI) were not too happy as they were not able to retain most of their champion side.

After Nita Ambani, owner of MI expressed her disappointment on not being able to rope in veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, the captain of the side Rohit Sharma also took Twitter to express his love for the old squad. The Mumbai batsman posted a picture of entire 2017 squad wishing them best of luck for future endeavours posted a heartfelt message. He said, "Will miss this super fun and talented bunch, big thanks to all you guys for putting up a great effort and contributing towards the teams' success. I wish you the best going forward @mipaltan."
