The thieves stole tyres of a truck parked on the highway. Even the driver sleeping in the truck could not detect the tire being stolen from the standing truck. The police have registered a case and have started investigating the case. According to the police, Krishna Kumar Putra Maniram village Bhagwa, district Hunaman Garh, Rajasthan came to Haridwar Siddakul on May 5 after loading the truck from Rajasthan. After unloading the goods here, he was going back to Rajasthan on Friday evening. Around eight o'clock at night, he stopped to eat at a Dhaba on a highway near Mangalore. After eating food, he slept on the driver's seat in the truck. Meanwhile, in the night, thieves stole 12 tyres of the truck.

The driver's mobile was also stolen. On Saturday morning, the driver woke up, and the tyre was stolen from the truck. The driver was blown away when he saw that the tyres were stolen from a parked truck. He reached Mangalore Kotwali and informed the police about the case. The police reached the spot and investigated. Also questioned those working on the data. Kotwali in-charge Pradeep Chauhan said that a case of theft has been registered. Also, CCTV cameras along the highway are being scrutinized. Police officials in the lockdown claim that police are stationed in the city and countryside. Everyday vehicles are being checked day-to-day.
