New Delhi: Indian bike manufacturer Royal Enfield has upgraded its popular Interceptor 650 model for MY-2023. The motorcycle now costs Rs. 3.03 lakh (ex-showroom).

The retro-inspired motorcycle is now available with two new paint jobs, Black Ray and Barcelona Blue, along with blacked-out alloy wheels and other notable improvements.

In 2018, the Interceptor 650 was a formidable motorcycle for Royal Enfield. In the middleweight retro-themed motorcycle market on our land, it offered the best value.

The cruiser's general lack of amenities, unlike its competitors, however, began to age the cruiser over time. The company recently completely updated the bike to make it more modern.

The 2023 Interceptor 650 retains the 2022 model's design aesthetic of retro-inspired elements. It features a large fuel tank in the form of a teardrop, a round LED headlight, a raised handlebar, dual upswept exhaust, single-piece seat, tubular grab rail, fork gaiters and an LED taillight. Instead of the more conventional wire-spoke wheels, the motorbike rides on blacked-out 18-inch alloy wheels.

Similar to the 2022 model, the 2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 features dual-channel ABS and disc brakes on the front and rear wheels to protect the rider.
