The Crown's latest season is out after which royals are getting trolled on social media. Prince Charles and Camilla have disabled the comments section from their official Twitter account on a post about a charity after being flooded with vitriol.

The Clarence House Twitter account posts updates and photos on Tuesday about the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall. The pictures shared are of Camilla speaking to the staff and residents of a UK homeless charity. The royal couple’s social media accounts have been flooded with hateful comments in the wake of the latest season of The Crown which made them turn off the comments section. Season 4 of the Netflix series chronicles Prince Charles’ portrays the miserable marriage to Diana and his affair with Camilla Parker Bowles, who was also married at the time. Nevertheless, the acclaimed dramatization describes Charles and Camilla as having conducted their affair during his entire marriage to Diana. 

The new season has been a massive hit delves into the love triangle of Princess Diana, Prince Charles, and Camilla Parker Bowles. A fictionalized retelling of the lives of British royal family members, the season has also been targeted by many for cherry-picking and mixing fact and fiction.
