New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to virtually distribute over 70,000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits on Saturday, the 22nd of July, the prime minister’s office said on Friday.
The Rozgar Mela will be conducted at 44 locations nationwide and will cater to recruitments in various central government departments. These new recruits, who have been carefully chosen from different parts of the country, will be joining various ministries and departments, including the Department of Revenue, Department of Financial Services, Department of Posts, Department of School Education, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Central Public Sector Undertakings, Department of Water Resources, Department of Personnel and Training, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The primary objective of the Rozgar Mela is to prioritize employment generation, as emphasized by the Prime Minister. This initiative is expected to act as a catalyst in generating more employment opportunities, empowering the youth, and fostering their active participation in national development.
Moreover, the newly inducted appointees will have the opportunity to enhance their skills through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online module available on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. This platform offers access to over 580 e-learning courses that can be accessed from anywhere, using any device, making learning convenient and accessible.
Notably, the Rozgar Mela, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to create a positive impact on employment and provide a platform for the growth and development of the nation's youth.
