New Delhi: The Union Finance Ministry is going to announce on Thursday the release of a coin of 75 rupees to commemorate the inauguration of the new building of Parliament House. The picture of the new Parliament House complex is going to be printed on this coin. The news says that PM Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the new Parliament House Complex on 28 May.

Know how the coin of 75 rupees will be: According to the notice issued by the Ministry of Finance, this coin of 75 rupees will be circular and its area is going to be 44 mm. 200 crests have been made on the sides of this coin. This coin is going to be made by mixing 50 percent silver, 40 percent copper, 5 percent nickel and 5 percent zinc.

Satyamev Jayate will be written on the coin and Ashoka Pillar will also be engraved on the coin. India in Devanagari language and India in English are going to be written on the left side of the coin. Similarly, on the upper side of the coin, Parliament House will be written in Devanagari language and at the same time the picture of the Parliament House complex is going to be printed below it. The design of the coin is also going to be done as per the First Schedule of the Constitution.

Opposition parties will not be involved: The news says that on 10 December 2020, the foundation stone for the construction of the new Parliament building was laid. The construction of the new complex of the Parliament House was estimated to cost Rs 861 crores but later Rs 1200 crores were spent in its construction. However, there is going to be a lot of politics regarding the inauguration of the new building of the Parliament House. In fact, the opposition parties are demanding the President to inaugurate the new Parliament House complex. This is the reason why 20 opposition parties have refused to participate in the inauguration program of the new complex of Parliament House. Opposition parties allege that not inaugurating the new complex of the Parliament House, nor inviting the President to the ceremony, is an insult to the country's highest constitutional post. The BJP, on the other hand, says that the Speaker is the guardian of the Parliament and has invited the Prime Minister. Politics should not be done on this issue.
