Nagpur: The country is celebrating the 72nd Republic Day today. Republic Day celebrations were celebrated by unfurling the tricolor in government offices, political party offices. However, the Republic Day events were not held on a large scale this year due to the crisis period of the Corona epidemic.
Meanwhile, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat unfurled the tricolor at the office of the Union in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Here, Bhagwat said that it is the purpose of our country to adopt and sacrifice everyone, to live a life with restraint and to perform continuous actions everywhere, adding everyone will have to grow up." Earlier, PM Modi on Tuesday greeted the nation on the occasion of the 72nd Republic Day. In a tweet, he said, "Happy Republic Day to the nation. Jai Hind!''
Earlier in his message on Republic Day, Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal said that Corona Warriors, sanitation workers, jawans, and farmers salute these heroes of the republic day country. He greeted all the countrymen on their Republic Day. The Indian Army also tweeted and greeted the nation on Republic Day. In a tweet, the Directorate said, "Republic Day greetings to all the countrymen on behalf of Army Chief Manoj Mukund Narwane and all Indian army posts."
