Nagpur: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Thursday addressed an RSS event in Nagpur. Due to this, he said that everyone should strive for the unity and integrity of India. He said that Islam attacked the whole world. It spread from Spain to Mongolia. When the people there woke up, they defeated the invaders, Islam shrank in its sphere of work. Now foreigners have left from there, but where is the worship of Islam safe, it is safe here (India). "Instead of showing our strength to the enemies on the borders of the country, we are fighting among ourselves."
Addressing the farewell programme of the Sangh Shiksha Varga (official training camp for RSS cadres), Bhagwat said every citizen of India should strive to enhance the unity and integrity of the country and if there are any shortcomings, "we all should work on them". Bhagwat said that due to the global economic crisis and later the Corona epidemic, India has performed well among all countries. He said that there are many disputes related to religion and creed in our society. We are not showing our strength to the enemies sitting on the border, but we are fighting among ourselves. We forget that we are one country. Some religions were from outside India and we had wars with them. But the outsiders are gone. Now they're all inside. Yet there are people under influence here (outsiders) and they are our people. This has to be understood. If there is any shortcoming in their thinking, it is our responsibility to improve (them).
Just as rain showers are pleasant in summer, we are experiencing similar pleasant feelings after 75 years of Independence. However, due to this, worrying scenes have also emerged. At this time there are many types of discord in the country. There are disputes about the facilities available in language, creed, sects, etc. They have increased to such an extent that we have started committing violence among ourselves. There are enemies sitting on the borders of our country keeping an evil eye on their freedom, but we are not showing them our strength, but we are fighting among themselves.
