New Delhi: Attacking on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BSP supremo Mayawati on Wednesday said that he was nervous and the BJP government's boat is sinking. Mayawati said that it appears that RSS has stopped the BJP.

Mayawati said,"PM Modi's government is losing this election, it appears that even RSS has stopped supporting them. In view of unfulfilled election promises & the public agitation, their swayamsevaks are not being seen putting in the work, it has made Shri Modi nervous."

Meanwhile, Congress leader Mani Shakar Aiyar stoked a huge controversy after he justified his 2017 "neech aadmi" remark against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his article published in The Print saying that he was prophetic in his remark.  In his article, the congress justified his remarks by citing PM Modi's recent comments in the election rallies in interviews regarding former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi and Balakot air strikes.

Aiyar starts with accusing the Prime Minister of lying about his educational background - which he suggests led the PM into making "illiterate claims" about the plastic surgery of Lord Ganesha and terming "udan khatolas” of mythology to be earliest F-16s invented by Hindus.

 Taking a dig at Prime Minister Modi’s 'cloudy cover' remark, Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday said that he is such a defence expert that he himself decided who will manufacture planes. He said, “"He is such a defence expert that he himself decided who will manufacture planes. He decided those who have never manufactured a plane in their lives will make it. He gave them land and a contract. He thought the weather is cloudy, (so) he won't come on the radar."
