Bhubaneswar: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, or the RSS, has again expressed its strict attitude towards illegal foreigners. Union Secretary-General Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi said that NRC should be implemented in the entire country. In addition, people who have come to India as foreign nationals should be identified and they have denied Indians civil rights. Addressing reporters after the All India Executive Board meeting in Odisha's capital Bhubaneswar, Joshi said, "It is the job of every government to prepare NRC."

There is a lot of intrusion. That is why it is necessary to first prepare NRC and identify those who are not Indian citizens and then prepare a draft so that it can be decided what they should do. NRC has been used only in the state of Assam. We can and should be done across the country by making a government plan. When asked whether it was against a particular community, Joshi said, "There is no reason for it to be against any one community."

He said, our stand has already been that those who come in are not citizens. If not a citizen of the country, then there are citizens of foreign countries. They should be identified as citizens of foreign countries. What to decide about them will depend on government policy. A week earlier, Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat had said that nationalism scares people because he immediately associates it with Hitler and Mussolini. But nationalism in India is not so because this nation is made up of its common culture. The RSS leader hoped that a decision in favor of the Hindus would come in the Ayodhya dispute.
