The crime case that has come up recently is from Roorkee in Uttarakhand, where the police has filed a lawsuit against the four in-laws, including the husband, on the court's order in the case of a married woman for dowry. Now they have also started investigating this case. According to the information received, Chanda, a resident of Keshav Nagar Society Road Mohalla of the town, had given an application in the court that his father had died a few years ago.

The mother married her on 22 April 2019 with the young man resident of Khanpur police station area. In this case, Chanda further said, 'The mother did not give dowry as per her ability in marriage, but the in-laws started harassing her for dowry.' On 13 August 2019, she somehow came home. In the end, she gave a complaint against the in-laws to the Kotwali police, but the police asked him to complain at the women's helpline Roorkee.

Now it is alleged in this case that no action was taken here either. Most upset, Chanda complained to the SSP office, but there was disappointment. In the end, he had to plead for justice by giving an application in the court and while hearing the case, the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Luxor ordered the Kotwali police to register a case. Regarding the matter, Kotwal Virender Singh Negi said, 'a case has been filed against husband Sachin, father-in-law Ramesh Pal, brother-in-law Sumit, mother-in-law Madhu.'
