Sehore: The 7-day Rudraksha Festival has started today at Kubeshwar Dham of Chitwalia Hema near the Sehore district headquarters of Madhya Pradesh. More than 8 lakh devotees arrived in Sehore even before the ceremony. The Indore-Bhopal highway has been completely blocked due to the crowd of devotees. It is being said that there is a long jam of more than 20 km on the highway. Before the Katha, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan and many ministers are reaching out to seek the blessings of Pandit Mishra. While on February 18, former CM Kamal Nath can also reach here.

Let us tell you that the police and administration are engaged with full alertness to handle the arrangements at Kubeshwar Dham. Apart from this, workers of many committees, Bajrang Dal, and Hindu Utsav Samiti are also engaged in making arrangements at Kubeshwar Dham. Phone networks are also not working due to overcrowding. In view of the huge crowd of devotees, Pradeep Mishra started distributing Rudraksha in Dham on Wednesday. The committee distributed Rudraksha to devotees from 20 counters. By Wednesday evening, Rudraksha was given to more than one and a half lakh devotees.

Vithalesh Seva Samiti's media in-charge Priyanshu Dixit said that on Thursday at Kubereshwar Dham at seven in the morning, a six feet high Shivling of Mahadev will be made from Rudraksha brought from Nepal in the temple premises, whose Pandit Mishra along with fellow Pandits will perform the ritual from seven to nine in the morning. Abhishek will be done with milk, water, and fruit juices, after that, Shri Mahashivratri Shivmahapuran Katha will be started from 1 pm to 4 pm.
