We are all excited for Christmas. On the occasion, homes have Christmas trees and other decorations in the weeks leading to Christmas Day. Christmas is celebrated in different ways in different parts of the world. Some workplaces hold Christmas parties prior to December 25. Festive activities include exchanging presents, singing Christmas songs, going to parties. It's a special time when children get presents from family, friends and Santa Claus, or Father Christmas. Ingredients

·         3/4 cup rum

·         2 teaspoon baking powder

·         1/2 cup butter

·         3/4 cup milk

·         1/2 cup sugar

·         2 teaspoon vanilla extract

·         1 cup all purpose flour

·         1 tablespoon cocoa powder

Grease the baking pan and preheat the oven.

Start by greasing a baking pan and setting the oven to 180°C.  Mix the chopped cashews into the pan evenly.

To make the cake mix, sift together the flour, baking soda, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl. In another bowl, the butter along with brown sugar and for 2 minutes. Add in the sugar and vanilla and beat until combined properly.

Add the dry ingredients into wet ingredients and combine at low speed. Add rum and milk gradually and mix until everything is combined properly and the batter turns thick.

Add this batter to the baking pan. Bake for 55 minutes. Bake for 55 minutes or until a toothpick when inserted, comes out clean. Bake for some more time if required.

Once the cake is baked, take out and let it cool for around 45 minutes before serving in the baking pan itself. Serve once cooled.
