Popular actress Rupali Ganguly, who became famous house to house by becoming 'Anupama,' is no longer needed any identity today. Rupali Ganguly was born on April 5, 1977, in Calcutta. Rupali Ganguly, after completing her schooling, took a course in hotel management and with that, she worked in theatre. She belongs to a Bengali Hindu family. Her father, Anil Ganguly, was a director by profession, while her brother Vijay Ganguly is a producer and actor in films. Anupama alias Rupali Ganguly married businessman Ashwin K Verma on February 6, 2013, and the two have a son named Rudransh.

Very few people probably know that Rupali Ganguly started her career as a child. When Rupali Ganguly was just 7 years old, she started acting in the world of cinema. Rupali first faced the camera in the film 'Saheb' directed by her father Anil Ganguly. Many stars like Anil Kapoor, Amrita Singh, Rakhi Gulzar, and Suresh Chatwal played the lead roles in this film. Thereafter, she worked in the 1987 film 'Mera Yaar Mera Dushman,' which starred Mithun Chakraborty, Rakesh Roshan and others.
