The Indian rupee appreciated by 4 paise at 66.80 per dollar on Friday against 66.84.
According to the Bhaskar Panda of HDFC Bank said, "The pull and push in USD-INR is evenly matched currently. Support comes in around 66.80/dollar and break below this looks unsustainable. Hence I expect the pair to trade within the 66.75-67/dollar range."
US dollar index trades approximately 95.90 levels, increasing from a near one-week low.
