Kyiv: Russia has stepped up its attacks in Ukraine. Officials have said that the attack was carried out in Ukraine's capital Kyiv on Thursday (October 13) morning with an Iranian-made Kamikaze drone. Kyiv's regional governor Oleksiy Kuleba said the attacks took place in the vicinity of the capital. However, it is not yet confirmed whether there were any casualties in the attack.

A five-story apartment was destroyed in an overnight shooting in the southern city of Mycollive. Vitaly Kim, the regional governor of Mycollive, said an 11-year-old boy had been rescued from under the rubble. He stayed pressed for about 6 hours. Rescue teams were searching for seven more people on Thursday morning. He said the building was attacked with an S-300 missile. This missile is usually used to target military aircraft. During Monday's major attacks, the capital Kyiv was attacked at least 4 times. At least 19 people were killed and more than 100 injured in the attacks.

Let us tell you that the leaders of the Western country have pledged to send more weapons to Ukraine this week. This includes air defence systems and weapons. Britain said on Thursday it would deliver missiles to Ukraine for the advanced NASSAM anti-aircraft system, which the Pentagon plans to deliver to Ukraine in the coming weeks. UK Defense Secretary Ben Wallace has said that these weapons will help Ukraine defend its skies from attacks and strengthen its overall missile defence, along with the US NASAMS.
