The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has also decided to stop Russia from participating in the upcoming FIH Women's Junior World Cup on Tuesday, in a step-by-step with the global sporting fraternity.

Russia's attack on Ukraine has also been strongly criticized around the world and sports bodies around the world are boycotting it at the call of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The FIH Junior Women's World Cup is scheduled to be held from April 1 to 12 in Potchefstroom, South Africa.  

Earlier, FIFA and UEFA have also taken major action. FIFA has also knocked Russia out of the 2022 World Cup. UEFA has also issued a ban on Russian football clubs until an upcoming order. On the other hand, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has made a big announcement regarding the participation of players from Russia and Belarus in global competitions in view of the current situation. The IOC Executive Board has recommended not to allow the participation of Russian and Belarusian athletes and officials.
