Moscow: The World Health Organization (WHO) has once again raised serious questions about Russia's corona vaccine. The WHO clearly stated that the vaccine that Russia has approved is not among the 9 vaccines that have been approved for final testing, or which the organization considers to be a claimant for the vaccine. Reacting to this, Russia has said that it seems as if our foreign partners are afraid of being ahead in the Russian medicine competition.
The WHO and partners have incorporated nine experimental corona vaccines under an investment mechanism. WHO is encouraging many countries to join this investment mechanism called 'Covex Facility'. This initiative provides a mechanism for various countries to invest in developing them and provide financial assistance to developing countries for early access to vaccines.
Senior advisor to the director-general of the organization, Dr. Bruce Alward, said, 'At this time we do not have enough information to decide about Russia's vaccine. We are discussing with Russia for additional information on the status of that product, testing stages and what could happen next. ' Russian President Vladimir Putin has announced to approve the vaccine for the coronavirus.
