Kyiv: In the midst of the war there is a big claim being made by Ukraine. Ukraine said the Russian army was now withdrawing from the Sumi region. It is being claimed that this has happened after a lengthy dialogue between the two sides. However, this does not mean that Russian troops will withdraw from all over Ukraine, the agreement is limited to only one unit.

According to the news of Ukrinform, this information has been given by the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Zhyvytskyi. Dmytro Zhyvytskyi has said that the soldiers of the enemy country (Russia) are returning with their weapons, belongings. There was a long discussion between the two sides, after which both sides released the prisoners of war, then the army returned. The withdrawal of the Russian army took place on 1 March, which was informed by Dmytro Zhyvytskyi by uploading a video on Facebook.

The agreement stipulated that weapons, tanks and other equipment would be taken back to Russia. According to Zhyvytskyi, ''The leader of the Russian unit said that he would no longer fight this war. He said I would go to Russia and be jailed. But now I have decided to turn the mouths of the tanks back to the house," Said Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, adding that it was still being monitored whether the Russian army contingent was going back. It is reported that there is still a lot of equipment of the Russian army in the Sumi region and these are moving westwards in Ukraine.
