ISTANBUL: For peace negotiations with Ukraine, a Russian delegation has arrived in Istanbul. The Russian delegation landed in Istanbul, Turkey's largest city, on Monday for a new round of peace talks with Ukraine, according to reports.

The jet carrying Russian diplomats landed at Ataturk Airport, which is only used for diplomatic missions, according to the statement. The negotiations are set to begin on Tuesday morning, according to Turkish diplomatic sources, as per reports.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin decided to convene the next round of talks in Istanbul in a phone discussion on Sunday.

Erdogan stated that Turkey would continue to assist in whatever way feasible throughout the process. Russia and Ukraine have held three rounds of face-to-face negotiations in Belarus so far, with the fourth session being a video conference.
