On July 14, Subhash Chandra Garg, the Secretary of the Economic Affairs asserted that the digital economy of our country has been increasing at a good pace and would soon touch a whooping amount of $ 1 trillion.
The Institute of Cost Accountants of India celebrated their platinum Jubilee on the July 14. The event was attended by Subhash Chandra Garg who said, "We expect the Indian economy to be a $1 trillion digital economy by 2022 and going forward... possibly by 2030, the digital economy would be half of the total economy".
He also assured that India would soon be the 5th largest economy of the world. To inform you, as per the list declared recently, India was declared the 6th largest economy of the world.
He asserted, "We will become 5th largest economy by 2022. If a situation is favorable then we can become 5th largest economy by 2019 hopefully."
He assured everyone that the good days for the country's economy are soon to arrive. Expressing his optimism he affirmed that the citizens of the country need to work really hard to achieve a growth rate of about 8 percent.
Gard seemed really happy about the country's pace towards the economic success. He stated, "Good days are ahead and a lot of good work is happening in the economy. The economy is on a stage of takeoff where Indians can legitimately hold their heads high."
