Veteran singer of the Indian film industry SP Balasubrahmanyam is admitted to the hospital for 12 days after getting corona infected. His condition had turned serious last week, and he was placed on the life support system, but now his health is improving. Superstar Rajinikanth gave information about SP's health through a video.

In the video, Rajinikanth says on the career of SP Balasubrahmanyam that for more than 50 years he has been singing in different Indian languages, and crores of people are enjoying with his melodious voice. Rajni further says, "I was very appreciative when he heard that he had left the Serious Halt. I pray to God for his well-being. He is still in the intensive care unit'. With this video, Rajinikanth wrote, 'Get well soon dear Baloo sir.'

SP Balasubrahmanyam was admitted to MGM Hospital on 5 August. He had reported this through a video on social media, according to which he was hoping to be absolutely healthy in a day or two. In the video, the SP said, "I was having some problems for two-three days. There was a congestion in the chest, which is not worrying for a singer. Sometimes cold and fever were also happening. I did not want to take it lightly, so went to the hospital for a test. Doctors said that this is a mild case of COVID-19". With this, his health is now very much improved.
