After Manmarziyaan Taapsee Pannu is all set to play the lead role in Anurag Kashyap's next. Saand Ki Aankh is the new title of Anurag which also features Bhumi Pednekar. Earlier, the film was titled Womaniya, however, due to a despite over the same, Anurag finalised Saand Ki Aankh

 Bhumi announced the title change of their film through Twitter. She wrote, "#SaandKiAankh hai naam, SHOOTING hai ismein humara kaam! Na yeh #ShooterDadis kabhi shelve ho saki hai...aur na yeh movie! Let's go! @taapsee @tushar1307 @anuragkashyap72 @RelianceEnt @realshooterdadi @shooterdadi @nidhiparmar (sic). Anurag too announced the same on his social media handle by tweeting,"While we go ahead with what @taapsee @bhumipednekar @tushar1307 @nidhiparmar @RelianceEnt @prakashjha27 @ItsVineetSingh @realshooterdadi @shooterdadi want the film to be ..”SAAND KI AANKH," (sic).

Tushar Hiranandani directorial film is based on the UP-based octogenarian sharpshooters Chandro and Prakashi Tomar. the shooting of the film will commence from February 10.
