Jaipur: The Yogi government is facing criticism over the incident of rape and murder in Hathras in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, former Rajasthan deputy CM Sachin Pilot has also attacked the BJP government. The Congress leader Pilot has said that he has seen for the first time that the administration and the government deliberately tried to erase the evidence and the district collector tried to threaten the victim's family.

He further said that "The CM and the entire administration left no stone unturned to suppress the voice of the opposition". Earlier, CM Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan had condemned the incident and action against Rahul Gandhi who was going to Hathras yesterday. He said that there is such a big incident, in a democracy, a national level leader wants to go to meet the victims, if there is no hiding, why were they stopped?"

CM Gehlot had said that the leader of the opposition in Rajasthan went to Dungarpur district after the recent violence and was allowed and there is nothing wrong with it. Gehlot further said, "When there is nothing to hide, why will anyone be prevented from meeting the Victim's family?" The BJP leaders went to Dungarpur and we allowed them to go and see the reality. In a democracy, it is a normal thing".
