God of cricket turns 47, many veterans extend wishes

New Delhi: Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar has decided not to celebrate his 47th birthday today, in honor of doctors, nurses, medical aides, policemen, military personnel and scavengers who contributed significantly to the war against the global pandemic Coronavirus. But on social media, his close and loved ones have greeted him in their own style.

Let us first start with his childhood friend and former cricketer Vinod Kambli, this former Indian team cricketer along with his family has congratulated Sachin for the anniversary through a video message.

Ravi Shastri, the coach of the Indian cricket team and former Sachin's player, tweeted with his Twitter handle, writing, "Happy birthday, Bossman. The legacy of the game you left behind is immortal, God bless you champion."

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has shared the video of Sachin's innings which he played against England in 2008. Sachin scored his 41st Test century while paying tribute to the victims of 26/11 Mumbai attack.

 


At the same time, the International Cricket Council (ICC) wrote on Twitter, honoring Sachin Tendulkar, who is called the God of Cricket, "Happy Anniversary Sachin, the best batsman in history."
