Today, Mumbai came forward to Vote in forth phase of election polling. It was election day in the state of Maharashtra and for the Tendulkars, it was a family affair. Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar exercised his voting right in Mumbai along with his wife Anjali Tendulkar, daughter Sara and son Arjun. For the two youngsters, they participated as voters for the first time in Loka Sabha Elections 2019. After casting their vote at the polling station in Bandra, the family obliged for a photograph which he later shared on his Twitter handle.

Sachin said before leaving his house to cast vote "I think that every citizen should come out and vote. It is very important for our country. This is a first voting opportunity for Sara and Arjun, so I brought them along,". "Voting this year has been so much more special with Sara and Arjun voting for the first time. I urge you all to go out and VOTE too! #LokSabhaElections #GotInked @ECISVEEP," tweeted Sachin on sharing the family picture where all are seen showing their inked index finger.

Here it is to be noted that in the fourth round of polling for the seven-phase general elections, which is slated to end on May 19, six Lok Sabha seats in Mumbai are voting. The results will be announced on May 23. There are several high-profile candidates contesting in the selection in Mumbai, namely Bollywood actress Urmila Mandotkar who is presently a Congress candidate from Mumbai North seat.
Let us share with you all that talking about the Tendulkars, Arjun is presently involved in building his cricketing career, while Sara is studying medicine in London. And father Sachin is involved with Mumbai Indians in IPL 2019 as an icon of the three-time IPL winning franchise. To be noted that earlier last week, Sachin was sent a letter of accusation for conflict of interest by Justice (Retd) DK Jain, the BCCI ombudsman, but the legend has denied it. The letter accused Sachin of dual role - as an icon of MI while being part of BCCI's Cricket Advisory Committee (CAC).

"At the outset, the Notice (Tendulkar) denies the contents of the Complaint in totality (except the statements specifically admitted herein). No part of the Complaint should be deemed to be admitted by the Notice for lack of specific denials," Tendulkar wrote in his response, which PTI has accessed.
