Strange cases continue to come in the world. One such case has come to light in London, where a high profile banker was fired from the staff canteen for stealing sandwiches. If you listen to this banker's salary then you will be surprised. This high profile banker was getting a salary of 1 million pounds (about 9 crores 20 lakh rupees) every year. The name of this banker is Paras Shah.

Paras was working at Citigroup Bank. He was responsible for the post of head of bond trading in Europe, Middle East, and Africa when he was caught on charges of stealing sandwiches. He has been removed from this post. The news of Paras' sacking of sandwiches just after being stolen, has been published by many media institutions along with his photo. His news has been carried in the Financial Times, DailyMail with photos. He was also sacked when news of his sandwich theft was published in several newspapers. The bank suspended him following several allegations that he was stealing food from his headquarters at the Canary Wharf in East London. However, information about when and how many sandwiches Shah stole is not yet revealed.

Mr. Shah has graduated in Economics from the University of Bath in 2010. Prior to this, he studied at Latimer Grammar School in North London. He then joined HSBC's trading scheme. In 2017, he was associated with Citibank. Two months after joining Citibank, he was made the trading head of Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This is not the first time that a high profile banker's job has gone down due to a small case of theft, in many other countries before. In this way, jobs have been lost in small charges of theft. At times, celebrities have also been caught committing such theft at airports. He later expressed regret over being caught stealing on CCTV.
