The Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has also refused to do a remake of the 1982 superhit film 'Satte Pe Satta'. Currently his character in the film was of elder brother, but still he is not shown much excited by this. Sources in the film industry have claimed that Salman was approached by Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty regarding the film, but the Dabangg actor has rejected the script.

According to one source, 'Yes, Salman was offered this, but he was not keen on it. He was told that he was perfectly fit for this role because of his 'brother' image in Hindi cinema, but this did not mean anything to him. Sources further say, 'Anushka Sharma agreed to play the lead actress in this film before the actor of this film was Hrithik Roshan. But Salman and Anushka's relationship was strained from the film Sultan, so when Salman was offered for this film, Anushka had to leave the film. Because it was impossible that these two would be seen together in this film.

Filmmakers Farah Khan and Rohit Shetty have been roaming around with the script for a long time, but many actors have turned down their offer for the film. King Khan Shahrukh was first chosen for this film. Then later came the news that Hrithik is going to illuminate the film. Hrithik also left the film saying that the script of the film is not according to him. Salman has appeared in Farah Khan's films 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Tees Maar Khan' as a guest actor. It will be interesting to see who now says 'yes' to this film.
