Salman Khan gets big relief from court, no punitive action against 'LoveRatri'

Salman’s brother in law, Ayush Sharma is debuting soon in the bollywood but his movie surrounded with controversies. The Supreme Court said on Thursday that no punitive action will be taken in any part of the country against Salman Khan Ventures Pvt Ltd, producer of the Bollywood film 'LoveRatri'. On this case, the Supreme Court has asked to pronounce the judgment today.

A bench headed by Chief Justice Deepak Mishra considered the plea that the film has got approval from the Central Board of Film Certification (Censor Board), despite this, an FIR has been lodged against it in Bihar and pending criminal prosecution in Vadodara in Gujarat.

The film is said to be released all over the country on October 5. The bench, while hearing the producer's petition, said that no punitive action should be taken against him in connection with the name of the film and its contents. Several criminal cases have been registered against the film. It has been alleged that the religious sentiments of Hindus are being hurt by the name of the film.

The name of the movie was first 'Lavratri', which was later changed into makers by 'LoveYatri' because it was similar to 'Navaratri' festival of Hindus. Salman Khan's brother-in-law, Ayush Sharma and Warina Hussein are in the lead roles.
